Schooner Sailing Adventure

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Washington, DC aboard American Spirit, an amazing replica of a historic schooner ship. The tallest of "tall ships" this 65-foot schooner recalls the history of maritime life of Washingtonian's in the 1800's when quick sailing vessels were built for trade with the West Indies. Help the crew hoist the sails or just roam the decks, while sailing down the national river -- the Potomac -- on the way down to Old Town Alexandria.

An experienced crew of sailors navigate and chart the course of the American Spirit, which serves as a dynamic learning platform
Light appetizers are included, feel free to bring along beverages, including wine and beer
Take in the air on the water as you relax at the end of the week

Essential Information:
Minimum age is 8 years old; children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian; waiver must be completed by all participants (by parent/guardian for minors)
