Llama Campout & Hike for Two

Campout with a friend and a llama! Take a two- or three-day trek through the forest accompanied by a lovable, gentle llama and an experienced naturalist, Dan Jones, as your guide. Llamas often hum softly as they hike trails. You could find yourself humming too as you hike at your own pace along hilly trails and wooded paths while a gentle, sure-footed llama carries your gear. Enjoy amazing scenery, a chance to observe the native wildlife, and fresh mountain air as you learn how llamas are trained to serve a number of purposes. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Meet your llama and your private guide, Dan Jones, experienced naturalist and teacher
Set out on your first day and hike roughly 4 to 5 miles to your camp site, to elevations over 10,000 feet
Enjoy lunch along the way as you take in the amazing continental divide scenery, observe the wildlife and breathe in the fresh mountain air
Learn about native plants, trees, animals, geology and local folklore
